Classic American outsider artist Henry Darger 1892-1973 kept to
himself and never showed his art to anyone. Luckily, when Darger
died his landlord found his entire life's work and understood its
value and preserved it for posterity. To get more insight into the
world of this unique man and artist I highly recommend the film, In
the Realms of the Unreal --(also the title of Darger's 15,000 page
novel).

Hollywood animators destroyed Darger's art just as they did R Crumb's Fritz the Cat.
