We are celebrating here at Headwrapping School. Yeehaw!!! I am sooooo totally stoked! It's all because this freewheeling rich Texan multi-billionaire rocknroll businessman recently purchased a whole series of paintings (53pics) from me. But that's just the beginning, I found out yesterday that the series has been accepted by the Morris Graves Museum of Art as a gift from the buyer and it will be a part of their permanent collection. There will be an exhibition in the near future at the museum. Did I mention that I'm totally stoked?
Thanks to The Morris Graves Museum of Art, Jemima Harr, Executive Director-Curator, and most of all to Jeff Hammer.
ps, I was just kidding about Jeff being a multi=billionaire. But it's true that he is in the music business. He's a hard working dedicated individual and lover of the arts. He's been a promoter and inspiration to artists and musicians for most or all of his adult life. Would that there'd be more people like him in this world.

A great reason to celebrate--congratulations!
Reuben--you know it is the unseen hand of the great "Cardeux"-the REAL "Little Ricky"--our crusty road warrior with feet that could kill a rhino-that guided this to completion.
I am as overjoyed as you and quite proud of myself if I do say so myself!!!
You are who you are and I love you for it.
All the breast! Hammer
..so there he goes, Dean Moriarty, ragged in the moth-eaten overcoat he'd brought specially for the freezing temperatures of the east... walking off alone and the last I saw him he rounded the corner of 7th avenue, eyes on the street, ahead and bent to it again -- gone...
When they go up let us know. I would love to go see them in person.
Wonderful!
This is fantastic. Congratulations!
I know I've said this before.... but it needs to be said again. Those are some kick-ass paintings.
